MGC Engineering Studio (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the ProTip USA mobile application (the “App”). We are committed to preserving your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

Personal Data: ProTip USA does not require user accounts, registration, names, or email addresses. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Input Data: Any numbers, bill subtotals, custom percentages, or itemized values you input into the App are processed locally on your device. This data never leaves your iPhone and is completely cleared when the App is closed.
In-App Purchases (StoreKit): If you utilize our optional Tip Jar features, all transaction processing is handled securely and directly by Apple via StoreKit 2. We do not collect or store your credit card information, bank details, or billing addresses. Apple provides us with anonymized transaction receipts to confirm successful purchases.
2. Third-Party Services and Ads
No Advertisements: ProTip USA is completely ad-free. We do not integrate any third-party advertising networks, tracking pixels, or marketing SDKs.
No Analytics Tracking: We do not use third-party analytics software to track your behavior, location, or usage patterns within the App.
3. Data Storage and Security
Because all calculations and configurations (such as your custom rating and tipping scales) happen entirely on your local device, your data is protected by iOS’s built-in sandbox security model. We do not own or maintain external servers to store your application settings.
4. Children’s Privacy
Our App does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
